Christoph Redtenbacher

Dr. Christoph Redtenbacher studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics at Graz University of Technology. As a University Project Assistant at the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Thermodynamics at Graz University of Technology, he worked on his dissertation in the field of pre-chamber combustion concepts for large gas engines to obtain his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. He subsequently continued his work in the large engine sector as team leader of the “Multi Fuel” team at FVT mbH in Graz, where he focused on the development of diesel and dual-fuel combustion concepts. In 2015, he joined LEC GmbH as manager of the area “Dual Fuel Combustion”. Since 2019, he has been managing the area “Integrated Systems” with current research topics in the fields of exhaust gas aftertreatment for alternative fuels and carbon capture concepts for power plant and ship applications.
