The aim of the first Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum was to network the relevant actors for an emission-free future. With its agenda, the event underlined the importance of green shipping solutions. The forum provided an overview of the current possibilities and developments in the field of emission-free shipping and pointed out potentials for future innovations and cooperations. 10 highly innovative international shipping research projects such as HyMethShip or AIRCOAT were presented and discussed. Excellent networking opportunities with an estimated 300 experts, opinion leaders and political decision-makers from all over the world was an additional asset of the two-day conference.
