The transformation of the shipping industry is one of the great challenges – and opportunities – of our time. Achieving climate-neutral maritime transport requires innovation, collaboration, and a strong global community committed to change.
Since 2019, the Leading Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum (LSSTF) – held annually in Graz and Hamburgand jointly organized by the Large Engines Competence Center (LEC) and the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) – has been a leading European platform bringing together experts from industry, research, maritime organizations, and policy to accelerate the transition toward zero-emission shipping.
In 2027, LSSTF will take place in Hamburg as part of the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) – hosted at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and the historic Hamburg City Hall. Being part of the HSC connects the sustainable shipping community with international leaders from politics, business, and civil society working on global sustainability. Save the date for May 31 – June 1, 2027, and help shape the future of sustainable shipping.
